Kolkata Knight Riders face Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Eliminator on Monday in IPL 2021. The loser of this game will get eliminated from the tournament while the winner faces Delhi Capitals in the second qualifier. CSK have already booked a spot in the final. Both the teams are heading into this game on the back of wins in their last game.
RCB got over Delhi Capitals in the final ball of the game with KS Bharat hitting a last-ball six. Banglore boasts of a settled top-order and bowling attack but is struggling to find a perfect number four. They have tried various players at the position but to no avail so far. KKR might exploit that weakness of RCB and with AB De Villiers not in the best of form can work in Kolkata’s advantage.

KKR, on the other hand, have looked the more settled unit among the two teams. Shubman Gill’s return to form is a good sign for the two-time champions. Lockie Ferguson is also back to his full fitness while Andre Russell’s fitness remains a concern. KKR’s spin trio have played a big part in their success so far in the UAE leg and the side might go with the same combination in the Eliminator as well.

KKR scored 171 against Rajasthan Royals in the final game at the venue. That remains the highest score in Sharjah in the UAE leg. Conditions are expected to be a lot better given that its the Eliminator. Small ground and smaller dimensions mean that sixes can be hit in plenty at this venue. A score between 160-170 is expected.
