The Kolkata Knight Riders on Friday revealed their jersey for the upcoming Indian Premier League season, which will commence on March 26 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Shreyas Iyer and CEO Venky Mysore were present during the jersey launch. The Knight Riders uploaded a special video on their social media platforms, to reveal their new jersey.
The video features Shreyas Iyers’ voice, expressing what the Kolkata Knight Riders Jersey and the team stand for. The Knight Riders wrote on their Instagram:

Skipper Shreyas Iyer has expressed his excitement to lead the KKR in the Indian Premier League 2022 season. The franchise will play the opener against Chennai Super Kings on March 26 in Mumbai. Speaking at the jersey launch, Shreyas Iyer revealed that KKR’s rich history is the best thing about the team. He said,
“The best thing about being the skipper of the Kolkata Knight Riders team is that if you see the history, they have won two titles. They have also reached the finals quite a few times. If you see the players that have played for KKR before, they have a rich history and I am someone who will be filling their boots.”
“It’s going to be an exciting journey for me, starting from right now (jersey launch). I am personally very excited to lead such an amazing franchise. We have amazing management led by Sir Venky Mysore. We are looking forward to that,” he added.
