Key Players Battle

Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals will look to win their match as they face off each other at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on 24 April 2023 at 7.30 PM in the IPL 2023.

The pitch at Hyderabad provides something initially for the bowlers. It promises to be an exciting encounter as both teams look to create an impact to pick early wickets and stop the flow of runs for the opponents.

Here We Look At The 3 Players Who Can Pick the Most Wickets Between SRH and DC

  1. Anrich Nortje

The South African pacer Anrich Nortje has done a decent job for Delhi Capitals this season so far. His performances created a major impact picking up early wickets against Kolkata Knight Riders and making life tough for the opponents.

He was lethal with his efforts against KKR picking up the early wicket of informing Venkatesh Iyer and then dismissing Umesh Yadav. It was a superb effort by Nortje ending with figures of 2 for 20 in 4 overs to restrict KKR’s modest total.

Nortje will play a key role again against Sunrisers Hyderabad to provide early wickets and put pressure on the SRH batting lineup.

  1. Mayank Markande

Mayank Markande proved to be a decent addition for Sunrisers Hyderabad this season. He looked threatening against Chennai Super Kings picking up 2 important wickets for Ajiyanka Rahane and Ambati Rayudu.

He was included in the playing XI and did a decent job with figures of 2 for 23 in 4 overs. Mayank has done a good job for SRH. It should be an interesting contest to see if Markande can continue his impressive performances this season. He has played so far 4 matches this season and grabbed a total of 8 wickets at an economy of 6.25 with best figures of 4 for 15.

Mayank will be important for SRH to pick wickets in the middle overs against Delhi Capitals batters who are struggling for form and not allowing them to score runs quickly.

  1. Kuldeep Yadav

The left-arm Chinamen Kuldeep Yadav had a decent outing for Delhi Capitals in the last match against Kolkata Knight Riders. He picked 2 wickets giving away just 15 runs. It was an impressive spell by Kuldeep getting wickets of well-set Jason Roy and then getting rid of Anukul Roy to derail the KKR innings.

Kuldeep Yadav has picked so far 6 wickets in 6 matches so far for Delhi Capitals with best figures of 2 for 15 against Royal Challengers Bangalore. He will be critical in the middle over to pick wickets and stop a strong SRH batting lineup.

Kuldeep Yadav would be looking for a good performance in the match against SRH and keep DC’s hopes alive for a playoff berth.
