Rajasthan Royals will host Sunrisers Hyderabad in match 52 of IPL 2023 to be played at Sawai Man Singh Stadium, Jaipur on 7 May.

Rajasthan Royals’ bowling struggled against Gujarat Titans picking up only 1 wicket in defense of a modest target. On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad looked impressive picking up wickets at regular intervals.

Both teams would be hoping for a great bowling performance keeping the other team in check to post big totals.

Here we look at the 3 Players Who Could Pick the Most Wickets Between RR and SRH

  1. Mayank Markande

Mayank Markande bowled a brilliant spell against Kolkata Knight Riders. He was bought into the attack very late into the attack and was hit for boundaries by Andre Russell. Markande eventually got rid of Russell.

It was a superb spell of bowling by Markande with 1 wicket giving away 29 runs in his 4 overs. He will play key role in the middle overs to stop the flow of runs and grab important wickets.

The leg spinner would look to create damage and keep SRH hopes alive with an impressive win over RR.

  1. Trent Boult

Trent Boult would be looking to provide early breakthroughs and keep SRH top order under check. He struggled in the previous match against Gujarat Titans defending a low total.

The onus will be on Boult to do early damage and not allow SRH openers to score big runs in the first six overs. He has done decently for Rajasthan Royals in this year’s IPL and would be hoping to showcase his talent with wickets in the first six overs.

He picked 2 early wickets when these two sides met on the first occasion. Boult would be looking for great performances against SRH to keep them in the hunt.

  1. Bhuvneshwar Kumar

The experienced Bhuvneshwar Kumar has done well for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He was decent enough against Kolkata Knight Riders in the first six overs and death overs. Despite going for 33 runs in his 4 overs and picking up 1 wicket, Bhuvneshwar would be a handful against an explosive RR batting line-up.

He needs to come up with a match-winning performance in the first six overs and ensure that SRH picks the in-form Jaiswal and Jos Buttler early.

Bhuvneshwar has looked ordinary this season and if SRH wants to win the match, he must come up with an inspired performance.
