IPL 2023: A Connection To Virat Kohli Is Sparked By Naveen-Ul-Haq’s Instagram Story

Against MI, Virat Kohli was dismissed for 1 in the first over. The Instagram story of Naveen ul-Haq has generated controversy.
During the earlier IPL victory for RCB over LSG, Kohli and Naveen engaged in combat.

Even as IPL 2023 powerhouses Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore squared off in a high-profile match at the Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday, May 9.

Afghanistan fast bowler Naveen-ul-Haq’s cryptic Instagram post sparked controversy. Naveen shared a story on Instagram that appeared to irritate some Virat Kohli supporters.

Following Virat Kohli’s firing, Naveen-ul-Haq posted a mysterious message to Instagram

While watching the highly anticipated match between RCB and MI at the Wankhede Stadium. Naveen-ul-Haq posted a picture of himself eating mangoes in a hotel room.

The timing of the post has prompted fans to associate it with Virat Kohli’s dismissal. Because Naveen’s caption for the image was “sweet mangoes”. Naveen posted the picture right after Virat Kohli was dismissed for one run in the game’s first over.

Virat Kohli, who has come under fire for his lack of aggression at the top, was out for one when he attempted to step down the track and hit left-arm pacer Jason Behrendorff into the spectators.

The thousands of Kohli supporters who had flocked to the Wankhede Stadium were let down when Kohli got a thin edge that wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan safely pouched.

The on-field umpire did not rule that Kohli was out. But Mumbai Indians appealed the decision to overturn it and send the IPL’s top run-getter back to the pavilion as early as the first over of the game.

Even though the Lucknow Super Giants pacer made no mention of what the Instagram post meant, Virat Kohli’s supporters did not like it.

Days after Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq engaged in an on-field altercation during RCB’s victory over LSG in Lucknow. The Instagram post and the discussion surrounding it have gone viral.

After Mohammed Siraj and the Afghanistan pacer engaged in a middle-distance duel, Kohli attacked Naveen. Kohli and Gautam Gambhir got into a nasty argument after their altercation on the field. The IPL fined all three of them following the contentious game.

“You receive what you deserve. That’s how it should be, and that’s how it actually works”, according to Naveen’s post.

It is noteworthy that Virat Kohli supported Gujarat Titans against Lucknow Super Giants by posting Instagram stories praising players like Wriddhiman Saha and Rashid Khan, who excelled against the Lucknow team earlier in May.
