Aakash Chopra asserted that MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have a strong chance of winning the IPL 2023 and finishing first overall.
After defeating Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by a score of 49 runs at Eden Gardens on Sunday, CSK ascended to the top of the IPL 2023 standings. To everyone’s surprise, the transformed man Ajinkya Rahane coloured Kolkata yellow with his stunning knock of 71 not out in just 29 balls to power CSK to 235/4.
Despite Jason Roy and Rinku Singh’s fifty-pluses, the visitors KKR were held to a total of 186/8 as a response. Following CSK’s resounding victory, Chopra predicted that the four-time champions would be challenging to beat.
