Sisanda Magala is set to be ruled out of the IPL 2023. Magala was brought in as a replacement for Kyle Jamieson. Chennai Super Kings have now suffered more injuries than any other team. Jamieson, Deepak Chahar, Mukesh Choudhary and now Magala.
The number of injuries happening this IPL is most than any other season. Sisanda Magala sustained a split webbing injury during the match against Rajasthan Royals. The Split webbing injury can be serious considering Magala straightaway went off the field after taking a catch.
He bowled only 2 overs for CSK. Chennai Super Kings is yet to release an official statement regarding Magala, it is most likely that the player will be ruled out of the tournament. Magala is a death-over specialist. Sisanda Magala took 14 wickets in the SA20 league including 2 in the finals.
