IPL 2023 Points Table: Chennai Super Kings move up to the top spot; Devon Conway drops to second in the Orange Cap race.

CSK defeated KKR to take the lead in the standings. Devon Conway made a strong move to take over second place in the Purple Cap race.

Match 33 of the IPL 2023 took place on Sunday at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Chennai Super Kings easily defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by a score of 49 runs.

KKR is in eighth place, followed by Sunrisers Hyderabad in ninth place and Mumbai Indians are seventh with six points. With four points each, KKR and SRH are separated by net run rate. Delhi Capitals with two points are at the bottom of the standings.

With 405 runs in seven games, RCB captain Faf du Plessis leads the Orange Cap race. Conway, the CSK’s opening batsman is in second place with 314 runs, followed by Warner (285) of DC. Gaikwad of CSK is in fifth place, followed by RCB’s Virat Kohli (279) in fourth.

With 13 wickets in seven games, RCB’s Mohammed Siraj is leading the race for the Purple Cap, followed by PBKS’s Arshdeep Singh (13) in second place.

Rashid Khan (12) of GT is in fourth place, followed by RR spinner Yuzvendra Chahal (12). Tushar Deshpande (12) of CSK is currently in fifth place.
