“If you’re going to play against bowlers who can bowl at 150 kph, you need to have the technique and method to score, and if they keep coming at you and bowling into your ribs, you need to find a way to score.”
Warner went on to say that because it is a “reaction skill” in a game, practising against short balls is challenging. With 11 home runs, Warner hit 57 off of 41. The Australian was holding one end, but he had to slow down because of the dismissals at the other end.
Delhi Capitals dragged out the game until the very last over, but Axar Patel finally helped DC cross the finish line. With two points from six games, DC is firmly entrenched at the bottom of the IPL standings.
