Gujarat Titans

Gujarat Titans, the defending champions in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, will play Kolkata Knight Riders in game 13.
The captivating match will take place at the lovely Narendra Modi Stadium.

While KKR recently defeated RCB handily, GT has won their first two games. It should be a thrilling matchup because both teams have some outstanding players.

Let’s look at the key players’ battle:

1. Umesh Yadav vs Shubman Gill

With a 63 against CSK to start the year, Shubman Gill.
In the Powerplay, Gill will have to take on Umesh Yadav because of how well he handles the new ball. Gill has scored 11 runs off of five balls without being dismissed in the two matches between the players. Umesh is the fourth-highest wicket-taker in the IPL in terms of powerplay overs with 55 wickets taken.

2. Hardik Pandya vs Sunil Narine

The middle order of GT is held together by Hardik Pandya. He must bargain with Sunil Narine and work in the middle overs.
Hardik has crushed Narine for 56 runs at a strike rate of 151.35 in six IPL encounters. He hasn’t been thrown out by the KKR spinner even once. Narine has taken 74 wickets at a 27-point-24 average in the middle overs of the IPL.

3. Rashid Khan vs Andre Russell

Andre Russell of KKR will be a significant wicket for GT, and Hardik may use Rashid Khan to deal with the dasher.
In the course of six IPL games, Rashid has twice ejected Russell.
With a pitiful strike rate of 68.7 per cent, the 34-year-old has scored 11 runs. Against Rashid, he was only able to control one boundary. Russell has a 156-point 59 IPL strike rate against spinners overall.

4. Mohammed Shami vs Rahmanullah Gurbaz

After his explosive knock against RCB, Rahmanullah Gurbaz became the first player from Afghanistan to score fifty IPL points.
He will be important for KKR, and Mohammed Shami will be tasked with getting rid of him. In 113 T20 innings and 1,980 runs, Gurbaz has a strike rate of 152.07 against pacers. Since the 2020 IPL, Shami has taken 25 wickets in Powerplay.
