It’s a sweet win and feels good for many reasons: Virat Kohli
Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated the Lucknow Super Giants by 18 runs at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. They managed to defend a low score of 126 runs, bowling out the opposition for 108 runs. Josh Hazlewood and Karn Sharma took a couple of wickets each. Reacting to the win, Virat Kohli said,
“It was an important win on the road for us. The fact that we got more support than the home team is an unbelievable feeling. It tells you all about how much we are liked as a team and how people come out and back us. It’s a sweet win and feels good for many reasons. But most importantly, for the kind of character we showed defending that total, everyone had the belief that we could do it and we ended up on the winning side.”
