With 12 points from as many matches, they are ranked fifth among the ten teams in the IPL 2023 points table. They defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) in their most recent match, winning by 112 runs. On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has lost eight of their first twelve games and is no longer in contention for the playoffs.

Marco Jansen: In the most recent game, the South African pacer faced GT and took one wicket for 39 runs. Sai Sudharsan, who participated in the game and scored 47 runs off of 36 balls, was the victim of his pick.
