The two most successful teams in the Indian Premier League 2023, Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings will square off in game 12. Royal Challengers Bangalore was the opponent of Mumbai in their opening match, and they were severely defeated.

CSK, on the other hand, has recorded both wins and losses.
Here, we outline the major conflicts leading up to the Titans’ Duel.

The thrilling match will be held at the legendary Wankhede Stadium. It’s a great place to bat because of the pitch. The pacers and spinners, however, will have access to enough, making for a very exciting contest.

On April 8 starting at 7:30 PM, fans can watch the game live on JioCinema in addition to Star Sports Network’s telecast of it.
MI has 20 victories over CSK while CSK has 14.

1. Deepak Chahar vs. Rohit Sharma

The IPL has not been kind to Rohit Sharma’s recent performance. He would like to recover, though, and start scoring runs once more to get MI’s season back on track. As one of the best new ball bowlers in the IPL, Deepak Chahar will be a challenge for him. In the course of eight IPL matches, Chahar has twice ejected Rohit. Rohit has 51 runs scored at a strike rate of 121.42 per cent.

2. Suryakumar Yadav vs Ravindra Jadeja square

Suryakumar Yadav, the star batter for MI, will be essential in the middle order. In these middle overs, he must take on CSK’s spinners, particularly Ravindra Jadeja. Jadeja has ejected Suryakumar twice in nine IPL games. With a strike rate of just 76.92 per cent, the 32-year-old has scored 40 runs against Jadeja. SKY has only slammed four boundaries without reaching a single maximum.

3. Jofra Archer and MS Dhoni

The CSK innings will be completed by MS Dhoni, and Jofra Archer will be assigned to bowl to him. In their only IPL encounter, Dhoni scored 12 runs off of nine balls. Dhoni had previously amassed the most runs (3,041) in the IPL’s slog overs (16–20 overs).
In 36 IPL games for 22.04, Archer has taken 46 wickets.

4. Jason Behrendorff vs Ruturaj Gaikwad

When it comes to CSK, Ruturaj Gaikwad has excelled. He has the most runs scored for them (1,356) since his debut in 2020.
Jason Behrendorff will be tasked with moving the new ball and getting rid of Gaikwad as soon as possible. In two games this season at 74.50, Gaikwad has already scored 149 runs.
Behrendorff has 138 wickets to his name in 120 T20 matches while scoring 22 points.
