The IPL 2023 Qualifier 2 will feature a match between the Mumbai Indians (MI) on Friday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad,  and the Gujarat Titans (GT), led by Rohit Sharma.

Tuesday’s Qualifier 1 saw GT lose to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 15 runs, while MI defeated Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 81 runs on Wednesday. The MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai hosted the two games.

This will be the third time the two teams have met this year. For the first game, GT defeated MI by 55 runs. Mumbai Indians returned the favour by defeating Gujarat Titans by a score of 27 runs in the second leg.

Shubman Gill: He is nine runs away from unseating Faf du Plessis as the season’s top run-scorer. Shubman Gill is just the second Indian batter to surpass the 700-run mark in the IPL. Gll has scored 722 runs in 15 games at an average of 55.53 and a strike rate of 149.17.

He has scored two hundred and four fifty-sixes this season. Gill scored six runs off nine balls against the Mumbai Indians in his most recent game. He played 10 games against MI in total, scoring 280 runs at an average of 28 and a strike rate of 132.07 percent.

David Miller: He is undoubtedly one of the most dangerous white-ball batters. Big games demand big players, and David Miller is just that. He has 259 runs in the IPL 2023, scoring at an average of 32.37 and a strike rate of 145.50. In his most recent game against MI, the Southpaw scored 41 runs off only 26 balls.

He has played 16 games total against the Mumbai Indians, scoring 364 runs at an average of 40.44 and a strike rate of 141.63. Rohit Sharma: Rohit Sharma, the most successful captain in IPL history, has led his team admirably this year despite their decline. In Friday’s crucial IPL Qualifier 2, he would like his bat to be the star.

Rohit Sharma: He has scored 324 runs in 15 games so far this season, averaging 141.63 and hitting 133.33, respectively. In his most recent game against the Gujarat Titans on May 12, he scored 28 points out of 18. In his three games against GT, he has scored 74 runs at an average of 24.66 and a strike rate of 137.03, for a total of three games.
