He smashed 5 sixes in the last over to win it for KKR. Rinku played with Nitesh Rana’s bat yesterday. The KKR captain played the initial few games with this bat in the IPL 2023.

“Today I changed my bat, Rinku asked me for my bat I didn’t want to give him my bat initially, but somebody brought this bat and I had a feeling that he would pick this bat because this bat has a very nice pickup and according to my weight this bat is light. So this bat belongs to Rinku, not me,” Rana said.

Rinku Singh scripted his name in the IPL history books. The 25 year old did the impossible with the bat yesterday. Rinku Singh also revealed that he texted Yash Dayal after the match to boost him a little bit.

“I texted Yash after the game, saying it happens in cricket, you did really well last year, I just tried to motivate him a little,” said Rinku Singh.

Yash Dayal was dejected after conceding 31 runs in the over.
“This is my bat and I played both matches with this bat, I have played the entire Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy with this bat, I have played the last four to five matches of last season also with this bat,” said Rana.

KKR were down and out of the match when they needed 42 in the last two overs. Rinku Singh will remember this over for the rest of his life, the owner of KKR Shahrukh Khan also praised Rinku Singh. Rinku Singh has got those finishing abilities that can earn him an India cap in near future.
