IPL 2023: According to Sunil Gavaskar, Sai Sudharsan is poised to reach the highest level of the game. Sunil Gavaskar, a former India captain, praised Sai Sudharsan’s temperament after the player scored 62 runs on Tuesday in Delhi against the Delhi Capitals in IPL 2023.

Legendary batsman Sunil Gavaskar believes Gujarat Titans player Sai Sudharsan will quickly move up to the highest level of play. The 21-year-old left-handed batter hit 62 not out in just 46 balls as Gujarat defeated Delhi Capitals by six wickets in Game 7 of the IPL 2023 on Tuesday, April 4.

Sai Sudharsan entered the IPL after a standout domestic season in which he scored 610 runs, including 300 in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and 572 runs, including 200 in seven matches in the Ranji Trophy.

He scored a fifty in his first season with Gujarat during their successful IPL campaign in 2022, and he entered the IPL after a season in which he scored a total of 610 runs, including 300 in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Thanks to the Tamil Nadu batsman’s superb innings management, the Gujarat Titans won their second straight match in the IPL 2023.

Alongside Vijay Shankar and David Miller, Sudharsan sewed more than fifty stands, content to rotate the strike and pick up ones and twos. All three of Sudharsan’s sixes on Tuesday were directed at Anrich Norje, a full-throttle bowler.

Sunil Gavaskar told Star Sports after Gujarat’s victory that the young batter needed to keep getting better and make sure he took advantage of every opportunity that came his way.

The illustrious batter spoke highly of Sudharsan’s temperament and Gujarat Titans for allowing young people to express themselves. The left-hander will soon be successful, he said with assurance.

During the 2017 IPL season, he did indeed take part in a few games. According to Gavas, he had a few chances and had a few good games that lasted more than 30 innings.
