At the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Saturday, the Delhi Capitals (DC) will play host to the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). In the standings for the ten teams competing in the IPL 2023, CSK are currently ranked second. They currently have 15 points in 13 points, and a victory would secure them a qualifying spot.

DC, on the other hand, have won four of their 13 games but is no longer in contention for the playoffs and is currently in last place. In their most recent match, Delhi defeated Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 15 runs while Chennai lost to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by six wickets.

Let’s take a look at some players who can take the most wickets in the match:

Ishant Sharma: This season, the veteran pacer has been slow to get going for DC, but in the games he has played, he has shown tremendous promise. Ishant has taken 10 wickets in eight games, averaging 20.60 and an 8.24 economy rate. In each of his last two games, Ishant has taken two wickets.

He did not, however, record any wickets in his third-to-last match, which was against CSK. Ishant would be hoping to put on a show in his team’s final league game today. He has taken six wickets in 11 games against CSK, with an average of 63 points and a 10-point 24 economy rate.

Ravindra Jadeja: The renowned left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja bowled four overs for 19 runs and one wicket against the Delhi Capitals (DC) earlier this season. In total, he has taken 16 wickets in 13 matches for an average of 20/30 and an economy rate of 7/22.
