A well-known person on the global stage is Yuzvendra Chahal. In 72 ODI appearances, he has taken 121 wickets for 121 runs at an economy of 5.26. Regarding the shortest format, the 32-year-old has 91 kills in 75 games at an 8-point 13 economy.

Chahal has been a strike force with the ball in the middle stages of innings and has been quite impressive in the lucrative T20 tournament. The Indian leg-spinner, who has played in 131 IPL games, has 166 wickets to his credit at an economy rate of 7.61.

The 2022 season of the cash-rich league was when Chahal was at his best. The Haryana-born player amassed 27 wickets for Rajasthan Royals in 17 games by tearing through batting lineups for fun. Shami has consistently demonstrated his bowling prowess as one of the IPL’s more seasoned performers. The 32-year-old has played in 93 games in the prestigious tournament and has taken 99 wickets at an economy rate of 8.52.

Shami excelled with the ball in the previous T20 carnival, taking 20 wickets in 16 games for an economy of 8.00. His bowling performances were crucial in Gujarat Titans winning the IPL. In the upcoming season of the lucrative league, the Amroha native hopes to continue Gujarat’s successful run.

2. Trent Boult

In terms of size, Trent Boult was a giant in the game of cricket. With his swing, he has destroyed batting lineups and firmly established his dominance on the cricket field. The 33-year-old played in 78 Test matches and recorded 317 wickets at an average of 27.49. In 55 matches for the T20Is, he has claimed 74 victims at an economy of 7.86.

Since 2015, Boult has been a part of the Indian Premier League and has repeatedly proven his dominance in the T20 extravaganza. In the prestigious competition, the left-arm pacer has appeared in 78 games and taken 92 wickets for an economy of 8.30.

With 16 wickets in as many games for Rajasthan Royals and an economy rate of 7.94, Boult displayed some of the best bowling in the world in the previous edition of the T20 extravaganza. The New Zealand pacer would be eager to deliver another bowling exhibition in the 16th IPL season.

1. Arshdeep Singh

Arshdeep Singh has been one of the consistent bowlers of IPL for the previous few seasons, his ability to bowl significantly well in pressure and death overs makes him a differential player who could end up winning the purple cap. He has bagged 14 wickets so far in IPL 2023.
