In the IPL 2023 match, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Rajasthan Royals by 4 wickets. With a six on the last ball, Abdul Samad gave SRH the victory.

Rajasthan went on to post an impressive total of 214/2 in their allotted 20 overs, demonstrating the wisdom of Sanju Samson’s decision to bat first. Yashasvi Jaiswal gave them a strong start with a quickfire 35 off 18 deliveries, but it was Jos Buttler and Samson who stole the show with their outstanding batting.

Samson scored an impressive 66 off 38 balls, which included 4 fours and 5 sixes, while Buttler top-scored with a stunning 95 off just 59 balls, which included 10 fours and 4 sixes.

Anmolpreet Singh and Abhishek Sharma of the Sunrisers, who scored 33 and 55 runs, respectively, helped the team respond well. Heinrich Klaasen and Glenn Phillips both contributed with quickfire innings of 26 off 12 balls and 25 off 7 balls, respectively. Rahul Tripathi also played a significant knock of 47 off 29 balls, which included 2 fours and 3 sixes.

With the help of Abdul Samad’s last-ball heroics, and eventually chased down the target with 4 wickets.

Samad maintained his composure and smashed an incredible hit for a maximum to seal the victory for the Aiden Markram-led Sunrisers with four required off the final ball, which occurred as a result of the previous no-ball.

All hope seemed to have been lost for SRH when Aiden Markram left the game after only scoring 6 runs. Glenn Phillips entered the scene and destroyed the role of the Royals. He scored 25 runs off of just seven balls, regaining momentum for SRH.

Hetmyer quickly accepted the outstanding catch and abandoned his threat. Now, 17 were required from the previous over. Sanju Samson once more placed his faith in Sandeep Sharma. The person who successfully defended 21 points against none other than MS Dhoni at Chepauk today had to do so in Jaipur.

Abdul Samad hit a maximum on the second ball to keep SRH in the game. SRH needed five runs on the final ball. After Sharma’s final pitch, there was a wicket, and the RR players began to rejoice. The story took a turn.

Now that the umpire had ruled the final ball to be a no-ball and asked everyone to re-enter the field, SRH needed four runs off the final ball. This is IPL for you, when Samad steps up and slams a six, SRH pulls off the unthinkable.
