The Rohit Sharma-led team was seen working out in the gym prior to their match. But pacer Arjun Tendulkar’s arm-wrestling competition grabbed everyone’s attention.
A video of Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun competing in arm wrestling. While the team was in the gym was posted on MI Twitter. Arjun was seen putting his father’s strength to the test.
“This was a new experience for me because up until now I have not actually gone and watched him play”, Sachin Tendulkar exclaimed. After watching his son play the first-ever IPL match for Mumbai Indians.” I simply wanted him to be able to express himself freely and do whatever he wanted,”.
In addition to Arjun, other players were seen lifting weights. Before the SRH match included Suryakumar Yadav and Vishnu Vinod. Arjun had disclosed that he had been bitten by a dog prior to MI’s previous match against Lucknow Super Giants.
It will be intriguing to see if he will face SRH. He has appeared in several games this year for the five-time champions. The young all-rounder has three wickets in four games with an average of 30 points and an economy rate of 9 points.
Arjun only had one at-bat this season, but the one he did have resulted in 13 runs. With four victories and two losses, MI has undoubtedly made the most of its home field.
Rohit Sharma’s team would like to keep up this trend as they have one last chance to raise their Net Run Rate (NRR).
