On Sunday, during MI VS RR Match in the IPL 2023, the legendary Sachin Tendulkar gave Tim David’s hat-trick of sixes a million-dollar response. The Indian Premier League (IPL) 1000th game received the best possible show and a thunderous finish.
Master Blaster displays a rare emotional outburst during the slaughter of Tim David, leaving Sachin Tendulkar ecstatic beyond belief. Suryakumar Yadav and Tim David stole the spotlight from under Rajasthan Royals’ noses in the second half of the Wankhede match between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals. Yashasvi Jaiswal stole it in the first with his record knock of 124 runs.
David provided MI with a record-breaking finish to the game by hitting a hat-trick of sixes. Which earned the legendary Sachin Tendulkar’s million-dollar reaction on Sunday.
Tendulkar, who served as Mumbai Indians’ inaugural IPL captain and is currently a team mentor was three times captured on camera during Mumbai’s innings at home against Rajasthan.

When one of his powerplay shots took an edge and sailed past the slip cordon during Ishan Kishan’s inning. He appeared disappointed at first and nearly furious. The second instance occurred in the eighth over. When Cameron Green hit a tossed-up delivery from Yuzvendra Chahal for a massive six down the ground.
The decisive blow was delivered by David, who hit the second six against West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder, in the final over of Mumbai’s 213-run chase. Since David was on strike, MI needed 15 runs to win. David swept a wide full toss first ball over the ropes that Holder had sent in.
That gave MI 200, but that was just the start. Holder then attempted the low full toss against the second Australian ball. And he lifted it high over mid-wicket for a six. That shot completely astounded Sachin, who was grinning throughout.
When MI defeated Rajasthan, they broke the previous record for the stadium. And the second-highest total in IPL history thanks to a third straight six from David.
“Amazing sensation. Observing how the boys handled it was fantastic for boosting our confidence. Despite the batting-friendly conditions, it felt like every bowler had to be targeted. For a while, I had wanted to play an inning like this,” Tim David said following the strike.
“I made an effort to take the lead in the final over, narrow the angle, and play solid shots. It was wise to bat in the dying innings. You felt like a batter missing out every time someone missed the yorker,” he concluded.
