Jos Buttler and Yuzvendra Chahal are teammates for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and they get along well off the field.

When RR acquired Chahal for Rs. 6.5 crore last year, the two became friends. Since then, RR frequently posts amusing videos of the two cricket players making fun of one another. A recent video shows Buttler in splits while holding his daughter as Chahal pops the question to him.

The post’s caption was written by RR: “The perfect proposal doesn’t exist-,” along with a face emoji crying with happiness.

Both Yuzvendra Chahal and Jos Buttler have excelled in the IPL 2023 on the professional front. 11 wickets including a four-wicket haul have been taken by the leg-spinner in six games.

The opening batsman meanwhile has 244 runs at a strike rate of 146.999, including half-centuries against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings.

The pair, however, fell short against the Lucknow Super Giants in RR’s most recent game. Which they dropped at home by a score of 10. Buttler made 40 runs off 41 balls while Chahal went without a wicket.

Last year’s purple and orange cap winners were Yuzvendra Chahal and Jos Buttler.

In the IPL 2022 season, Yuzvendra Chahal and Jos Buttler both excelled for RR as the Men in Purple advanced to the finals.
Buttler earned the Orange cap for scoring 863 runs in 17 games, including four tons and the same number of half-centuries.

Chahal meanwhile took home the purple cap after claiming 27 victims at a 7.75 economy rate. After winning their first trophy in the IPL’s inaugural season, they will finally try to end RR’s trophy drought.

With four victories in six games, Sanju Samson’s Rajasthan Royals are currently in first place in the IPL 2023 points standings. With a better net run rate (NRR), they are superior to LSG.

The Royals will now try to get their winning streak back against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Sunday, April 23 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
