The Indian Premier League 2024 has seen some breathtaking batting as Sunrisers Hyderabad thrashed Lucknow Super Giants by 10 wickets at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on 8th May 2024.
Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma chased down the target of 166 in just 9.4 overs and helped them a step closer to the playoff stage. Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul won the toss and decided to bat first. It was a disappointing start as de Kock, Stoinis, KL Rahul and Krunal Pandya went cheaply. Nicolas Pooran and Ayush Badoni stitched a 99-run partnership for the 5th wicket that helped LSG post 165 for 4.
After the match, the fans saw LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka’s heated exchange with KL Rahul. This is not the first incident the IPL owner argued with the captain.

The 2012 edition of IPL saw KKR owner Shahrukh Khan having heated exchanges with security personnel and cricket officials. KKR defended the target of 140 against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai in the 65th match of that season.
KKR owner Shahrukh Khan was asked to leave the ground by the MCA officials. During the media, the actor had heated exchanges with security personnel because the staff behaved not properly with Khan’s kids. Shahrukh Khan was banned from entering the stadium for five years. The ban was eventually lifted after a gap of three years.
