Three Uncapped Indian Players To Watch Out For in the IPL 2024 Auction
#Ramandeep Singh
Ramandeep Singh was signed by the Mumbai Indians for Rs. 20 Lakhs at the 2022 Indian Premier League auction. He picked up six wickets for them in the season, including a three-wicket haul against Sunrisers Hyderabad. However, he did not get an opportunity in the 2023 season and has been released by the franchise. Ramandeep is expected to attract some good bids at the 2024 IPL auctions. He played the finisher’s role well in the Syed Mushtaq Ali and Vijay Hazare tournaments for Punjab. He had a strike rate of 222.80 in the SMAT, and of 157.42 in the 50-over tournament.
#Urvil Patel
Urvil Patel’s 41-ball century in the Vijay Hazare Trophy match against Arunachal Pradesh has boosted his stocks ahead of the Indian Premier League 2024 auction. It was the second fastest by an Indian in List A cricket. He went on to score 311 runs in four matches in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Urvil was part of the Gujarat Titans last season but did not get a game. His proficiency in wicket-keeping adds another dimension to his prowess.
#Shahrukh Khan
Shahrukh Khan will be one of the most sought-after players at the Indian Premier League 2024 auction. Team India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has also predicted a bidding war for the batter. Shahrukh’s finishing prowess will be a massive asset for any franchise. He was signed by the Punjab Kings during the 2021 auction for INR 5.25 crore. In 33 IPL matches, he has scored 426 runs at a strike rate of 134.81.
