Former Assistant coach of the Delhi Capitals, Mohammed Kaif feels the franchise needs to back their identity talent and back them properly. He expressed that they have failed to back the players to deliver in the last few seasons of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The Delhi Capitals finished ninth on the points table in the 2023 Indian Premier League season. They won only five matches and lost nine.
