Lucknow Super Giants could be given a major boost as star pace bowler Mayank Yadav is expected to return for their clash against Mumbai Indians at Ekana Stadium, Lucknow on 30th April 2024. He missed Lucknow Super Giants’ last 5 matches due to an injury that he suffered.

LSG suffered a disappointing 8-wicket loss to Rajasthan Royals in their previous encounter at Ekana. They would be looking for a much better performance against five-time champions Mumbai Indians at Lucknow.

LSG franchise posted a special video about Mayank Yadav roaring about his comeback. The video has music from a Tamil movie known as Karuppu Vellai. The caption had an emoji timer on it. KL Rahul is currently at 10 points and would be looking for a good performance against Mumbai Indians to stay in contention for the playoffs stage.

“Mayank Yadav is fit. He has passed all his fitness tests. We are excited to have him back in the squad and in the potential playing 12 tomorrow,” Morkel said in the pre-match press conference.
