In the pulsating encounter, LSG, opting to bowl first, faced a formidable CSK total of 210/4, propelled by Ruturaj Gaikwad’s century and Shivam Dube’s explosive half-century. Despite early struggles in the run-chase, LSG found a savior in Stoinis, who, promoted up the order, anchored the innings with aggressive strokeplay. Contributions from Nicholas Pooran and Deepak Hooda alleviated pressure, enabling Stoinis to unleash a flurry of runs, clinching a thrilling six-wicket victory with an unbeaten 124.
Stoinis’s heroics earned him the well-deserved ‘Player of the Match’ award, elevating LSG to the fourth position with five wins and three losses, accumulating 10 points.
