The explosive opener Prithvi Shaw returned to nets after suffering an injury that kept him out of action for quite a long time. He injured himself during the Royal London One-day International Cup for Northamptonshire and returned to India for rehabilitation.
Shaw had a disappointing 2023 with lots of controversies and injury layoffs. During the recent video, he was seen hitting the ball properly and finding the middle of the bat. He was trying to move behind the ball and get his feet moving during the net session.

Prithvi Shaw showed his class during the Royal One-day International Cup 2023 where he smashed the highest individual score in the tournament of 244 against Somerset on 9th August 2023. During his brilliant innings, Shaw smashed 28 boundaries and 11 sixes that helped Northamptonshire post massive total and then won the match comfortably.
Shaw’s disappointing outing in IPL 2023
Prithvi Shaw had a disappointing outing for Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League 2023. Delhi Capitals could not perform according to expectations finishing 9th in the points table with 5 wins and losing 9 games. Shaw did not look at his best self during IPL 2023 with just 106 runs from 8 innings. He did not get attacking starts for Delhi Capitals last year.
Delhi Capitals missed the services of Rishabh Pant as the captain because of an accident. During IPL 2023, he made his best score of 54. He was one of the players to be retained before the 2024 auction that would take place on 19th December in Dubai.
Pant will strengthen the side if he makes a comeback into the IPL 2024. Shaw would be hoping to come back to great form along with Warner which would help Delhi Capitals provide attacking starts which would put pressure on the bowlers.
