Arshin Kulkarni and KL Rahul had a quick-fire start before Arshin tried to hit a big shot as Ramandeep Singh took a stunner in the 2nd over that kept pressure on LSG batters.
Arshin Kulkarni was named as an impact sub replacing Yash Thakur. He was dismissed without opening his account in the previous match against Mumbai Indians. Lucknow Super Giants batters struggled big time as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals chasing down a massive target of 236.

Kolkata Knight Riders batters dominated the LSG bowling
Kolkata Knight Riders’ batting was up to the mark with an explosive start by Sunil Narine and Phil Salt. After being asked to bat first by KL Rahul, Salt and Narine showed intent right from the word go putting enough pressure on the LSG bowlers. Salt’s quickfire knock ended dismissed by Naveen UL Haq. Salt and Narine added 61 runs for the opening wicket in 4.4 overs.
KKR posted 70 for 1 at the end of the first six overs. Narine showed intent putting enough pressure on LSG bowlers. Raghuvanshi also kept the momentum going with Narine. Narine reached fifty off 27 deliveries. It was a superb partnership between Narine and Raghuvanshi, not allowing LSG bowlers to settle. Narine’s brilliance ended dismissed for 81 off 39 balls with 6 fours and 7 sixes. Narine and Raghuvanshi added 79 runs for the 2nd wicket.
Andre Russell and Rinku Singh put on valuable cameos. Ramandeep Singh showed his class with some lusty hits in the first over against Yash Thakur smashing him 25 runs. Ramandeep Singh looked impressive with attacking shots not allowing the LSG bowlers to settle and keep the momentum going for KKR. Shreyas Iyer was brilliantly caught down the leg by KL Rahul.
It was a superb batting effort by KKR as they amassed 235 for 6 at the end of 20 overs. For Lucknow Super Giants, Naveen UL Haq was the pick of bowlers with 3 for 49 in 4 overs.
