In the 16th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL), two notable teams, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Delhi Capitals (DC), are set to compete against each other on Wednesday at the Dr Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA–VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

Before the match, Delhi’s captain Rishabh Pant shared a sincere moment with Kolkata captain Shreyas Iyer. The video shows how much the two players like and respect each other. They’ve played together for a long time, both for India and in the IPL.

“The most memorable innings were when I was handed over the captaincy in 2018. And in that innings itself, I got 93 not out and I got 10 sixes in that innings. So when I got the captaincy, I scored 93 in those innings.”

“That was the highlight of my IPL so far. The super over game against Kolkata Knight Riders when I was the captain of Delhi. And we were defending 10 runs and Rabada bowled Yorkers.”

“Like all the six balls, he bowled Yorkers and somehow we defended that total with Andre Russell batting, Dinesh Karthik batting. To defend all these players when they were in their top form, it was one of the best games to win as a captain.”

In a touching moment, the previous Delhi Capitals captain and the current one shared a hug before having a friendly chat before the Delhi-Kolkata match. Delhi Capitals secured a precise win against Chennai Super Kings after facing two consecutive losses away from home.

They will face Kolkata Knight Riders in match 16 of the tournament on April 3rd. In contrast, Kolkata Knight Riders have won both of their matches, placing them second on the points table.
