With no cricket taking place, present and ex-cricketers have become extremely active on social media. Recently Mohammad Kaif joined Yusuf Pathan on a live Instagram chat. During the conversation of the duo, Irfan Pathan interrupted their chat to troll Mohammad Kaif. Irfan asked Kaif about the statements that he made regarding “Yo-Yo Test” scores for the players their playing days.

Kaif had recently stated that only himself, Lakshmipathy Balaji and Yuvraj Singh would have cleared the Yo-Yo test during their career. To this Irfan trolled Kaif and reminded him that his scores were almost at par with Kaif. The two represented India in many ODIs together during the early 2000s.

Irfan hilariously said, “I heard your statement that in our time if Yo-Yo test was there, only Balaji, you and Yuvraj would’ve passed. Fir hum kya kar rahe the, chane bech rahe the hum? I used to run alongside you competitively, you used to make 16 and I did 15.5 on average.”

The former Indian all-rounder did not stop here and also revealed the scores of their Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly. Pathan revealed that Ganguly only used to score passing marks in the Yo-Yo Test which was 12. The Yo-Yo Test is an endurance fitness test for athletes in which they run at their maximum speed for 20 metres.

“But, I remember Dada reaching just 12 to pass the fitness test,” the former all-rounder said about Sourav Ganguly.

Both Kaif and Irfan Pathan are currently working as Hindi commentators for a well-known Indian sports channel. The two were also part of Sachin Tendulkar’s side ‘Indian Legends’ when they took the field during the Road Safety World Series. Meanwhile, Ganguly is the current president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
