Promising young talent Sanju Samson had nothing but absolute praise for the legendary cricketer MS Dhoni when he took part in an interactive session with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He lauded the exceptional skills of MS Dhoni as a batsman or a wicket-keeper or a captain of the team.

The flamboyant batsman has stated that it is impossible to match the skills of MS Dhoni on the field in any manner. Sanju Samson further added that he is often compared to MS Dhoni but clarified to the fans that he cannot fit in the shoes of the Jharkhand player in any manner.

The 25-year-old then went on to claim that no one can get into Dhoni’s shoes. Considered as the most successful captains India ever produced, Dhoni is the only skipper to have won all three major ICC trophies. The Ranchi stalwart has won ICC World T20, 50-over World Cup and Champions Trophy as captain.

“You tend to observe his game and then try to copy him but you fail. You just cannot copy him or get into his shoes. A guy coming from Jharkhand and becoming India’s greatest captain ever. I feel very emotional whenever I talk about Dhoni,” he said on Instagram, reported TOI.

Notably, Dhoni last played a competitive match was the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 semifinal in July where the Men in Blue were knocked out of the tournament after losing to New Zealand.
