Meanwhile, the Test match is crucial for India as a win will qualify them for the ICC world Test championship that will be played in June. New Zealand has already qualified and either India or Australia will be the second finalists. Talking about Bumrah he may have felt the fatigue of the bio-secure bubble and decided not to feature in the 4th Test match. The star Indian pacer has been continuously playing cricket since the Australian tour in all three formats and the management will be hoping that this little break helps him and he is fresh for the big cricketing season ahead.
The third Test match between India and England finished in just 2 days as Ashwin and Axar Patel exposed the batting technique of England batsmen against the turning ball. The final Test match will again be played at Ahmedabad between March 4- March 8.
