Jasprit Bumrah is all set to play in the IPL 2021 for Mumbai Indians after his marriage with sports presenter Sanjana Ganesan. He was released from the Indian team for his marriage and he is back now with Mumbai Indians ahead of IPL 2021. Bumrah with over 100 wickets for the franchise is well and truly the leader of the Mumbai attack now. He is also the leader of the bowling attack of the Indian cricket team in all formats.

Ahead of a new IPL season, Jasprit Bumrah shared a post of his first season with the franchise. Bumrah made his IPL debut for Mumbai Indians in 2013 and since then has been with them constantly.

“8 years ago feels like just yesterday. Cannot wait to get out there again!” Bumrah captioned his Instagram post. Indian skipper Virat Kohli was his first IPL wicket back in 2013.

The pacer took just 11 wickets in the first three seasons with Mumbai and in the next five took 98. In the process, he has also been a part of five IPL titles with the franchise. The Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians are the most successful franchise in the IPL history. CSK with three titles are the next best. KKR have two and Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad have a title each to their credit.

Bumrah’s marriage with Sanjana Ganesan was the talk of the town till it was complete. They kept it private and announced it on Twitter after their marriage was over. They completed the formalities in front of a small gathering of 20 people from close friends and family members.
