Who would have thought that a person crossing the line could have such disastrous consequences? It”s a well-renowned fact Jasprit Bumrah overstepped at the worst possible time for a fast bowler.

Many believe that his no-ball which allowed left-handed batsman Fakhar Zaman a reprieve who then went on to score a hundred helping Pakistan post a massive total batting first was the turning point of the final.

Jaipur Police sensing a resemblance of the no-ball to the on-road drivers” tendency to jump traffic lights and ignore the rules came up with an innovative idea and put up a billboard in the public place stating-“Don”t cross the line. You know it can be costly.”

While many on the twitter appreciated Jaipur police”s sense of humor and their ingenious way to spread awareness, the man himself didn”t saw the funny side of things and took it seriously. Bumrah wasn”t pleased with this act and let Jaipur police know what he felt by tweeting some strong words against this idea. One can argue whether the Billboard is displaying anything offensive or not, but clearly, Bumrah wasn”t amused.

After Bumrah failed to appreciate the unorthodoxy of the work and took things little too personally, Jaipur police wasted no time in switching to damage control mode. In a series of tweets, the police department apologized to the fast bowler and made their intentions clear.
