Jio Cinema Announces Commentary Panel For The 2023 Indian Premier League

Jio Cinema announced its commentary panel for the upcoming 2023 Indian Premier League on Wednesday, March 29. The league will kick off on March 31 with the defending champions Gujarat Giants taking on the Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Jio Cinema won the digital rights of the Indian Premier League 2023-27 for ₹20,500 crore.

The tournament will be streamed in high 4K resolution, with commentary available in 12 languages. The languages are English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bhojpuri, Punjabi, Oriya, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Former cricketers Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, and Brett Zee are part of the English commentary group. Meanwhile, Zaheer Khan, Suresh Raina, and Anil Kumble will be in the Hindi commentary box.

Tamannah Bhatia to perform at the Indian Premier League 2023 opening ceremony

The Indian Premier League will have an opening ceremony for the first time since 2018.  The official Twitter handle of the league confirmed on social media that Tamannaah Bhatia would participate in the Opening Ceremony. The event will take place before the start of the opening clash between Gujarat Titans and the Chennai Super Kings at Ahmedabad. It will begin at 6 pm IST and will be telecasted on Star Sports Network TV, and live-streamed on Jio Cinema.
