More than a month have passed the world has gone into a complete lockdown amid the outbreak of the pandemic coronavirus. The cricketers have got an uncalled break in between their jam-packed schedule and are currently keeping themselves inside the house following the government’s order.
The COVID-19 has turned out to more fatal than expected. It has taken almost two lakhs lives of people – United States Of America, Italy, Spain Germany being the most affected. India have also witnessed a steep growth in the number of positive cases in the last few days with the death toll crossing the 500-figure mark.
The outbreak of the pandemic has also postponed the forthcoming edition of the Indian Premier League. The BCCI has postponed the league for an indefinite period and the players are using this period to engage with the fans.
During that session, veteran all-rounder Kedar Jadhav was asked to pick one between MS Dhoni and Salman Khan. In answer to his question, Jadhav took a small pause and said that superstar word is a mix of two words i-e- Super+star. Jadhav came up with a diplomatic answer to even out the balance.
“Superstar for me is a mix of two words – super and star. So for me, they both are like a superstar. I cannot differentiate but I would still like to clear this that because of MS Dhoni I have been able to play the duration I have played. And because of Mahi Bhai, I got to meet Salman Bhai. I think it will always be Mahi Bhai first then Salman Bhai but it is very difficult for me. It is like asking which parent is your favourite?” Kedar justified on Instagram Live.
Meanwhile, Kedar Jadhav has lost his place in the playing XI owing to inconsistent run. He will hope to do well if the Indian Premier League happens to present his case in front of the selectors and be in the reckoning for the national selection.
