On the cricket field, KL Rahul was last seen playing in Delhi Capitals’ nail-biting clash against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Match 32 of IPL 2025, held on April 16 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Batting first, Delhi put up a competitive 188/5, with Abishek Porel top-scoring with 49. Rahul contributed 38, while Axar Patel and Tristan Stubbs chipped in with 34 and an unbeaten 34, respectively.

In response, RR’s chase was anchored by fifties from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Nitish Rana, both scoring 51. With just nine runs needed off the final over and Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer at the crease, Rajasthan seemed set for victory. But Mitchell Starc’s exceptional final over forced the game into a Super Over.

RR posted 11 runs batting first in the Super Over. In reply, Rahul scored seven off the first three balls before Stubbs finished it off in style with a six on the fourth delivery, clinching the win for Delhi Capitals.
