KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma & Yuzvendra Chahal gain in the latest ICC T20I Player Rankings

In the latest ICC T20 rankings, there is bad news for Indian fans as Virat Kohli has been displaced from number 1 batsmen rankings.

Australian hard-hitting batsman Aaron Finch becomes the number 1 ranked batsmen in T20I rankings. Despite not playing many T20I matches, Finch has occupied top position. West Indies hard-hitting batsman Evin Lewis occupies the second position. He can become the number 1 position if he does well in the T20I series against New Zealand starting from 29th December.

India’s captain Virat Kohli has slipped down from the top spot to number 3rd. He did not play in the recently concluded T20I series against Sri Lanka. KL Rahul who performed well in 3 matches T20I series against Sri Lanka has climbed to number 4th in the rankings.

New Zealand Kane Williamson occupies the 5th position with 716 points. Australia’s hard-hitting batsman Glenn Maxwell is at number 6th in the rankings.

Alex Hales drops down to number 7th in batsmen rankings. England captain Joe Root occupies the 8th position.

South Africa’s Hashim Amla occupies the 9th place. Both Joe Root and Hashim Amla occupied the 7th place. New Zealand hard-hitting player Martin Guptill comes at number 10th in rankings. He has a chance to climb up the rankings in T20I series against West Indies.

In the bowler’s ranking, Pakistani left-arm spinner Imad Wasim displaces Jasprit Bumrah as a top-ranked bowler. Afghanistan teen sensation Rashid Khan retains his second place.

India’s young teen sensation Jasprit Bumrah slips down to 3rd place in bowlers ranking. He played only two matches in T20I series against Sri Lanka and could not pick many wickets. West Indies leg-spinner Samuel Badree occupies the 4th position. He has a chance to climb up the ladders in the upcoming T20I series against New Zealand.

South Africa leg-spinner Imran Tahir occupies the 5th place in bowlers ranking. West Indies spinner Sunil Narine retains his 6th position.

Bangladesh Mustafizur Rahman retains his 7th position. Australia’s James Faulkner also occupies 8th place.

Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib- AL- Hasan occupies the 9th place. He has same rating points as Faulkner but is behind by decimal points. New Zealand leg Ish Sodhi maintains the final place in bowlers ranking and could climb up the table with good performances in T20I series against West Indies.
