KL Rahul had a very ordinary day with the bat and as captain today in IPL 2021. The skipper of Punjab Kings failed to get going with the bat and was dismissed for only 4 runs from 6 deliveries.

In the build-up, all the noise was about Rahul’s low batting strike rate in the last few matches. He tried to accelerate quite early in his knock but perished after which Punjab Kings batting couldn’t recover. Then while captaining the side, Rahul was spotted being visibly upset on many occasions.

KL Rahul Shows His Frustration After An Ordinary Day For Punjab Kings

While defending a total of 121 runs, the usually calm Rahul was aggressive and even angry at times behind the stumps. He let his emotions all out today which was captured on camera.

The Punjab Kings skipper certainly had an unfavourable day at the office as his team failed to execute plans against SRH. When SRH was cruising towards an easy win Rahul was even spotted swearing.

Never before Rahul had been seen being so frustrated on the field during his captaincy career in the IPL. When he saw a misfield he gave a mouthful to his fielders and even said ‘Mada*****’.

Meanwhile, KL Rahul certainly wasn’t pleased with his bowlers and fielders in what turned out to be a forgettable performance by his side. The Sunrisers Hyderabad side notched up their first win of the season and won comfortably by 9 wickets. Now Rahul and his side will have to adapt quickly to the conditions in Chennai where they will be playing their next few IPL 2021 matches.
