Mark Waugh was the top scorer for Australia with 83 and contributions from all around the batting order helped Australia to post 282 for 6 in 50 overs.

Chasing the target of 283, the Indian top order failed miserably. Ajay Jadeja 100 not out and Robin Singh were the only scorers for India, as they were bowled out for 205 in 48.2 overs. Australia won the match by 77 runs.
