West Indies pace bowler Tino Best is presently participating in the 2023 Legends League Cricket (LLC) as a member of the Urbanrisers Hyderabad. Renowned for his remarkable speed, he could reach speeds of up to 148 kmph during his international cricket journey.

Noteworthy is his history of dismissing prominent Indian players such as MS Dhoni on three occasions and Rohit Sharma. In the current T20 tournament, he is showcasing his bowling prowess, reminiscent of his earlier years in the sport.

On November 24, Best shared a video of him rattling Kevin Pietersen with a bouncer during a game against India Capitals on November 23 in Ranchi. He posted this with a comment on X.

During the game, Tino Best concluded with statistics of 1/36, contributing to Hyderabad’s thrilling victory by a margin of three runs.

Kevin Pietersen’s impressive innings of 77 runs from 48 balls, featuring six sixes and four boundaries, proved futile as Tino Best’s Urbanrisers Hyderabad clinched a three-run victory over India Capitals.

Hyderabad set a total of 189/5 in their 20 overs, with Gurkeerat Singh Mann leading the scoring with 89 runs off 54 deliveries, including three sixes and nine boundaries.

Openers Dwayne Smith and Martin Guptill fell early, while Suresh Raina and Peter Trego contributed with scores of 46 (27) and 36 (20), respectively.

Isuru Udana stood out as the Capitals’ top-performing bowler, concluding with a bowling figure of 2/28. Rusty Theron, Munaf Patel, and KP Appanna each secured one wicket.

In reply, the Capitals achieved a total of 186/6 in 20 overs. Besides Pietersen, Ashley Nurse and Ricardo Powell made initial contributions but couldn’t carry the team to victory. They both recorded scores of 41 (25) and 26 (24), respectively.

Chris Mpofu secured two wickets for Hyderabad, with Peter Trego, Pawan Suyal, and Tino Best each claiming one. The Urbanrisers Hyderabad are set to confront Gujarat Giants in Dehradun on November 26.
