Before we go deep into the facts we want you to know about what exactly the term LBW defines. If a batsman misses the ball and then it hits his leg which is in-line with the stumps then the batsman can be given out.
Point to be noted is that the ball should not hit the ground outside the leg stump and also it shouldn’t have touched the bat before hitting his leg which is in-line with the stumps. Only then the batsman is said to be out for LBW.
