Former England skipper Michael Vaughan has picked up the winner of the India vs Australia series down under. The series kicks off with the first ODI at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Friday. Meanwhile, Vaughan has picked Australia to beat India in all the formats.

This is a very early all from the former England skipper. The ODI series has kicked off in opposite notes for the two teams. While Rohit Sharma misses out for India, Australia are back to full strength with Steve Smith and David Warner back in the side.

Michael Vaughan Picks His Winner

Meanwhile, Michael Vaughan took to microblogging site Twitter to declare his decision. The former England slipper predicted that the hosts will dominate India across the formats.

“Early call … I think Australia will beat India this tour in all formats convincingly … #AUSvIND” wrote Vaughan after the first ODI between the two teams started.

Australia started the match on a good note With David Warner and Steve Smith back, the Indian bowlers had a tough task on their hands and it proved the same Warner scored 69 in his first outing of the series. Aussie skipper Aaron Finch scored 114. Glenn Maxwell scored a quickfire 45 and Smith also scored a century as well.
Meanwhile, the Indian bowlers are under the pump throughout the innings. All the bowlers went for runs in excess of 6 of 7 with the Australian batters upping their game in the final 20 overs of their innings.

Meanwhile, Indian skipper Virat Kohli reacted to the absence of Rohit Sharma for the ODI series. Reports are that he will be back for the Test series.

“From that selection meeting to IPL finishing till the last e-mail, there has been no information, lack of clarity and we have been playing the waiting game on this issue for a while, which is not ideal at all it has been confusing,” Virat Kohli said in the virtual press conference ahead of the first ODI.
