Months after his exit from the Pakistan cricket team, Mickey Arthur is a happy man now. He has now been appointed as the head coach of the Sri Lankan team for a period of two years.

He was associated with the Pakistan team for a period of three years. One of his memorable stints would be the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 where his team edged over India.

However, the PCB wasn”t so keen to renew his contract after a forgetful World Cup as well as the England series. Following the same, Former skipper Misbah-ul-Haq was appointed as the chief selector and coach.
