Moeen Ali trolled on social media for drawing a picture of Viv Richards

England all-rounder Moeen Ali who recently took a hat-trick to defeat South Africa to go up 2-1 in series was targeted recently on social media for asking to bid for a drawing he painted of West Indies legend Vivian Richards.

Recently, players like Mohammad Kaif, Irfan Pathan and Mohammad Shami has been subjected to religious trolls for posting pictures with their wife wearing nail polish or playing chess with a son or doing yoga.

The sketch was to be auctioned by Cricket United, a cricket charity awareness campaign that raises money for Professional Cricketers Association.

The 30-year-old player took to twitter to post a photo of the sketch while asking them to bid for the picture. He wrote, “Please do support @CricketUnited and bid on my drawing of Sir Viv to support @PCA @Chance2Shine @LordsTaverners.

However, he received severe retaliation as according to fundamentalist drawing is against Islam.
