Mohammad Rizwan Taunts Kevin Sinclair With ‘Come To The Graveyard’ Remark During Multan Test

Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan engaged in some banter with West Indies batter Kevin Sinclair on Day 2 of the first Test between the two teams at Multan Cricket Stadium on Saturday, January 18. Pakistan had a commanding lead, finishing the day 202 runs ahead in their second innings.

After being bowled out for 230 in their first innings, Pakistan made a strong comeback, thanks to exceptional bowling performances from spin twins Noman Ali and Sajid Khan. The West Indies batters struggled against their relentless spin attack, collapsing to 42/6 in just 11.2 overs.

When Noman Ali dismissed Kevin Imlach for the sixth wicket, Sinclair came to the crease and was greeted by Rizwan’s sledging. A video that quickly went viral on social media shows Rizwan saying, “Yeah brother, come to the graveyard. You enjoying the bowling brother?” as he welcomed Sinclair.

On Day 2, Pakistan resumed their first innings at 143/4, with Saud Shakeel (56*) and Mohammad Rizwan (51*) at the crease. The pair built a solid partnership of 141 runs before Sinclair dismissed Shakeel for 84.

After his departure, Pakistan’s lower order struggled against the spin bowling of Sinclair (2/61) and Jomel Warrican (3/69), eventually being bowled out for 230. Rizwan also fell for 71, getting trapped in front of the stumps by Sinclair.

Noman Ali claims his seventh five-wicket haul

Despite being dismissed for a low total, Pakistan secured a substantial first-innings lead of 93 runs, thanks to Noman Ali’s seventh five-wicket haul in Tests. The left-arm spinner finished with figures of 5/39, while Sajid Khan also made a strong impact, taking 4/65.

Together, they dismantled the West Indies batting lineup, bowling them out for just 137. With a 93-run lead, Pakistan made a solid start in their second innings, led by captain Shan Masood, who scored a half-century (52 off 70).

At the end of the day, Pakistan was 109/3, extending their lead over the West Indies to 202 runs, with Kamran Ghulam (9*) and Saud Shakeel (2*) at the crease.
