The ace Indian bowler”s contract is also on hold due to several extramarital affairs. Indian bowler Mohammed Shami “s wife Hasin Jahan, on Thursday, lodged a complaint against him and his family members in a police station at Kolkata.

Now, FIR  has been filed against him on charges of torture and physical violence on the basis of her complaint.Hasin Jahan posted the chat history screenshots of Shami with three other girls in the social media a few days ago.

Shami  has been booked under sections 498A (Husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty), 323 (Causing hurt), 307 (Attempt to murder), 376 (Punishment for rape), 506 (Criminal intimidation),  328 (Causing hurt by means of poison, etc., with intent to commit an offence.), 34 (Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of IPC.

On the other hand, Shami himself has denied all these allegations against him saying that they are false and his wife is under some depression. He said “All these accusations made against me are baseless. They have no meaning. She said that this has been happening for five years, the fact is that we have been married just for four years.”

If all these allegations are found to be true, it will be very difficult for Shami to regain his spot in the domestic and International tournaments as well.
