Mohammed Siraj put on a sensational show on Day 5 of the final Test in the five-match series against England at The Oval. India defeated England by six runs at The Oval, successfully defending a target of 374 and dismissing the hosts for 367 to level the series 2-2. After India’s victory, teammate Arshdeep Singh encouraged the pacer to film a humorous reel.
“Pressure? What pressure? Sirf bolna hai pressure, thodi der rukna ek second, what pressure? khatam. Reel seedha do second ki. Sab sikhana padta hai bowling ko chodke (You just have to tell pressure, wait for a second, what pressure? done. A two-second reel. I have to teach him everything except for bowling),” Arshdeep said.
Taking Arshdeep’s advice, Mohammed Siraj went ahead and filmed a light-hearted reel on his phone.
“Pressure? What pressure?” he said while making a gesture with his hand.
After filming the reel, Mohammed Siraj was joined by Prasidh Krishna and Karun Nair, who gathered around to watch it. The trio shared a hearty laugh as Siraj played the clip for them. You can watch the video here:

Siraj Shines Bright With His Best-Ever Match Haul At The Oval
Mohammed Siraj played a crucial role in India’s memorable triumph at The Oval. After posting 224 in the first innings, India restricted England to 247, keeping the game evenly poised. Siraj and Prasidh Krishna were instrumental, each claiming four wickets to keep the hosts in check.
In their second outing, India put up a solid 396, setting England a challenging target of 374. Despite centuries from Joe Root (105) and Harry Brook (111), which put England in a strong position, Siraj and Krishna once again turned the tide. The duo sparked a remarkable comeback, with India eventually defending the total.
Siraj spearheaded the bowling attack with a five-wicket haul in the final innings, finishing the match with career-best figures of 9 for 190. He also emerged as the highest wicket-taker of the series, bagging 23 wickets at an average of 32.43, including two five-wicket hauls. For his outstanding performance, he was named the Player of the Match.
