Moises Henriques flew to his right and held on to a brilliant diving catch to dismiss Virat Kohli. It needed something special from the Aussie fielders in the field to stop Kohli in the run chase. After failing in the last match the Indian skipper looked determined to contribute with the bat in the mammoth chase.
Kohli survived a few anxious moments early on in his innings but settled nicely after few boundaries. The Indian captain registered another half-century against Australia in ODIs and kept his side in the run chase. Once reaching the 50 runs mark, Kohli started taking a risk in every over in trying to keep up with the asking rate.
Moises Henriques takes a brilliant diving catch
Hazelwood who dismissed Kohli even in the last match was brought back into the attack by captain Aaron Finch. The Aussie speedster had a plan in mind and that was to take pace off the ball. Hazelwood delivered a perfect back of a length slower ball which Kohli tried to muscle past short mid-wicket.
Unfortunately for Virat Kohli and Indian fans, it wasn’t far away from fielder Moises Henriques as he plucked an unreal catch. The all-rounder pulled out a full stretch dive and snaffled an important catch. As soon as Henriques completed the catch the entire Aussie side gathered around Moises Henriques and celebrated the big wicket of Kohli.
